To see same-sex lovemaking as the sole property of an isolated group is to assume a reactionary pose, signaling a clinging to the indefensible status quo. Homosexual feelings are not merely those of an isolated minority, forever beyond the experience of humanity's masses. The ability to love one's own gender is the necessary property of every person, one that has long been waiting to be discovered on levels other than the sexual, but including the sexual. To propel itself it need rely only on its exuberant expressions, attractive because they are open-minded, bold, flexible, loving and joyfully unembarrassed.

Prisoners are being given condoms and bleach to clean needles despite sex and drug use being prohibited in jail…It is understood that medical staff are giving prisoners condoms and that they also have access to bleach…Prison regulations prohibit sex between inmates, and drug use is a serious offence that can result in the delay of parole and criminal charges. Though the practices are not officially condoned, they are seen by some staff as sensible harm reduction measures.
