"Ex" Southern Baptist Agrees with the Rev. Mel White

First, I agree with Rev. White (see: http://gaytoday.badpuppy.com/ garchive/events/091498ev.htm) the Religious Right WILL do almost anything they can to make/cause things to come to their way of thinking. I am a FORMER Southern Baptist. I left them because of their hatred and prejudices for gays and other non-white groups, and their view of other religious groups. I agree, we are all children of God, and the God that I worship is a kind, and loving God. His Son, Jesus Christ, made it clear that we are never to consider the debt of Love to be repaid. He also said that He did not come to cancel the other laws, but to give a new and more important one, and that was to Love each other, as we love ourselves…. melwhite.gif - 28.71 K The Rev. Mel White

Mr. Clinton's problems do not stem from his consensual affair, but from his actions to try to keep it covered. It is clear now, that he lied in the Paula Jones testimony, and did so intentionally. Matters were worsened with continued blunders along the way. Mr. Clinton's affair, while not morally proper, was consensual, the unlawful and abusive actions taken afterward is what is the main problem. We as a people, have again bowed to the media hammering of the sexual encounter as the main problem. Few people actually understand what this is all about, and the main problem here, in my opinion, is the abuse of power, and intentional lying!

Thanks for the great articles, keep up the good work. Anytime you cause people to think for themselves, you have accomplished a great thing!

Thanks.
Dave

Why the "Bill & Monica Show" Won't Affect November's Elections

I have a hard time accepting the argument from either side that this election will be a valid litmus test of public opinion of Clinton's behavior. Whichever side of this question you fall on, it is clear that your representative/senator is entirely innocent of any direct involvement in the "Bill & Monica" show. I will be casting my vote for my representatives in both chambers based upon the candidates running in my district/state. I should expect that most people will do the same. Die hard partizans may try to paint a different picture, but I doubt that many minds will be swayed in congressional elections by this bru-ha-ha.

Outing Straight Moral Hypocrites

clinton.gif - 11.79 KIn the next few days, every major politician will be passing moral judgement against the President. As a gay male, I know what it is like covering up my sexual affairs to certain friends or family. I do not think a person's sexuality is anyone's business.

My Senator. ________ ….. has already proposed that the President be impeached for covering up the affair.

Well, dear Senator, I know about the cheesy bleached blonde bimbo who has been staying with you in D.C. for the last ten years, while your wife ____stays in (another city). (Your wife)_____ will tolerate your affair since you agreed not to bring your playpal home. If I was straight and married to (your wife), I might do the same thing. Actually, she is probably happy that she does not have to put up with your tired old ass.

I think it is time for all members of the Senate and Congress who are screaming moral judgment, and are hiding affairs (present or past) should be exposed. There is more than one Senator secretly paying child support.

Let's make the public aware. If you know some dirt about your Rep, (let the White House know). I am tired of these idiots playing the high moral road, throwing pot shots at good people like Barney Frank, while they are getting down and dirty.

Ricky
