Dating Difficulties

Whereas most of Western "civilization" can count up to only two when it comes to gender, there are people like me (white boy-turned-girl) who cannot be conveniently jammed into a binary pigeonhole. Given how fastidious most folks are about the gender of their sex partners, the projections for a girl like me finding The One are only slightly better than for a tropical downpour in the Sahara. (Of course, my lesbian preference adds an additional layer of complication, but that's way OUT.) trixiekrilft.jpg - 12.35 K Trixie Crystal (white dress), member of the band Glamazon, meets with Kiss

This is a problem that most trannies face no matter what their orientation, unless they don't mind some penitentiary-reared troglodyte whose predilection for transisters was borne behind bars – the kind of paramour who might occasionally whale the living fecal matter out of them for no good reason.

Trixie Crystal—"Lesbian Tranny Weighs in on Dating Troubles"—A letter to Cintra Wilson, San Francisco Examiner, September 3

Jonathan Schmitz' Failed Defense

If people were to murder their unwanted suitors, and then blame the dead for making pests of themselves, there'd be a considerable dent in the world's overpopulation problem.

Removing Sex from Homosexual

archbisbrun.jpg - 9.47 K Archbishop Alex J. Brunett meets with Pope John Paul II True, the church teaches that sexual activity is moral only in the context of a lifelong committed marriage and when it is open to procreation. At the same time, the church is pastorally supportive to people, homosexuals and others, who respect church teaching and struggle in good faith with understanding and living that teaching in their lives.

Curiosity Fired the Nun

A 66-year old nun was arrested August 11 for writing racist graffiti in a washroom and an emergency room lobby at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Illinois. Sister Dorothy Toman, a Franciscan nun, immediately confessed, saying she only wanted to see how the hospital would react. She quickly found out: she was fired.

Love without a Formal Pact

My single constancy is love of life
Because we have entered no such formal pact
As dulls devotion between man and wife,
No bland acknowledgement, no binding fact,
No mingling of betrothal with divorce,
No dated bliss, no midnight certitude,
No sad necessity, no matter of course,
No pallid answer saying why we wooed.

Reflections of a British Politician Outed in the Park

rdavies.jpg - 6.03 K These have been the most difficult 12 months of my life. I and my family have suffered a great deal for all that has happened. I have paid a very heavy personal price for the over-work and the unresolved tensions within me. I can now recognize that and I have come to terms with it.

Ron Davies— "I'm So Sorry for All the Hurt that I've Caused"—The Daily Mirror, London, September 4
