Telluride Gay Ski Week Braces for Twins, Cucci and a Frenchman

The producer of Telluride Gay Ski Week announced today the entertainment line-up and schedule of events for Telluride Gay Ski Week 2010 presented by The Matthew Shepard Foundation*, which will be held February 20 through February 27, 2010. Now in its seventh year, Telluride Gay Ski Week promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Highlights of the weekâ??s schedule include new and returning parties like Chemistry.comâ??s White Night, the Blue Ball, Hump Night and Meet & Heat as well as activities such as The Matthew Shepard Foundation Benefit Dinner – An Evening with Judy Shepard, Bloody Mary Breakfasts and Iced-T Skating.

Entertainment for the week will feature a mix of celebrities and leading DJs including Reichen Lehmkuhl, Billboard® ranked DJs The Perry Twins, DJ Guillaume from Paris, Providence-based DJ Dena Cucci and the three-breasted drag queen of comedy, Nuclia Waste.

SCHEDULE HIGHLIGHTS:

The Matthew Shepard Foundation Benefit Dinner â?? An Evening with Judy Shepard is a first-ever fundraising dinner during ski week that will feature special guest and co-founder of the organization Judy Shepard. Guests will enjoy cuisine from award winning executive chef Kenny Gilbert of Capella Telluride as well as receive a personally autographed copy of Judy Shepardâ??s book, The Meaning of Matthew.

The Blue Ball is the official after-party of The Matthew Shepard Foundation Benefit Dinner and will be held in Ballroom of the Capella Telluride following the dinner. Featuring DJ Guillaume from Paris, this dance party will be sure to keep you moving with Guillaumeâ??s sleek and sexy euro-style music.

Hump Night at the Llama in Telluride will be held on Wednesday night â?? hence the partyâ??s name de guerre. Hosted by Amazing Raceâ?¢ winner Reichen Lehmkuhl, revelers will dance to music by one of New Englandâ??s best know talents, Providence-based DJ Dena Cucci.

Chemistry.comâ??s White Night is ski weekâ??s largest and most popular dance event. Returning to The Peaks for 2010, partygoers on Thursday night will be able to dance into the wee hours of the morning with continuous spinning by top Billboard® ranked, LA-based DJâ??s The Perry Twins.

The weekâ??s schedule includes other events such as the Opening Party at the Peaks, Iced T skating, the House Jams Party and Meet & Heat. The daily schedule includes Apres Ski at the Stoli Lounge, Dine & Unwind and Late Night recommendations as well as Spahhh Days and Bloody Mary Breakfasts.

Back for 2010 is the all inclusive T-Pass (a $330 value) that provides guests access to virtually all of the events and activities of Telluride Gay Ski Week. The T-Pass is available at an early-bird price of $150 until February 7. The price increases to $175 after February 7. Starting February 15, the T-Pass will only be available on-site at the regular price of $195.
