BRITISH ELECTROPOP SENSATION FRANKMUSIK HITTING THE ROAD WITH ERASURE

English synth-pop legends Erasure will be launching the first leg of their Tomorrowâ??s World tour in the U.S. on August 31st with Frankmusik, the British remix master whose own full-length album Do It in the AM (Cherrytree/Interscope) will be released on September  27th. Frankmusik also produced Erasureâ??s October disc Tomorrowâ??s World, the bandâ??s first album in four years, and Erasureâ??s 14th studio set and first release since their remastered version of 1988â??s classic The Innocents was released in 2009.

This electro-dynamic pairing will sweep through the States on a 27-date trek that includes two gigs at New Yorkâ??s Terminal 5, a pair of shows at Chicagoâ??s Congress Theater, and one huge night at the Hollywood Palladium.

Frankmusik â?? a.k.a. 25-year-old Vincent Frank made his name churning out killer remixes for Lady Gaga and the Pet Shop Boys and helping launch the career of Cherrytree/Interscope label-mate Ellie Goulding.  After becoming a well-known musician on the London scene, Frankmusik relocated to Los Angeles in November 2009 in an effort to shock himself into taking new risks and hit paydirt teaming up with chart superstars Far East Movement for his first solo single, â??Do It in the AM.â? The throbby bangerâ??s â??uh, what the hell happened last night?â?? video concept racked up over 1 million views in one week and was featured as one of NMEâ??s must hear songs.  In turn, Frankmusik was featured on Far East Movementâ??s song â??Fighting for Airâ? and

together they played to hundreds of thousands of fans on TV and on the road performing  Far East Movementâ??s hit “Rocketeer.”
