Hollywood agent Tyler Grasham accused of sexual misconduct with young male actors

Agent Tyler Grasham is currently on leave from the Agency for Performing Arts (APA) pending an investigation into alleged sexual misconduct with young male actors.

The allegations against Grasham first surfaced on 15 October when actor/filmmaker Blaise Godbe Lipman posted accusations about an unnamed agent on Facebook, as the #MeToo campaign against sexual assault was trending.

According to Teen Vogue, after Lipman posted this, Grasham ‘poked’ Lipman on Facebook. This led Lipman to create another post, this time naming Grasham as the abuser.

Lipman claims that when he was 17 or 18, he and Grasham had a dinner meeting at which Grasham ‘fed’ Lipman alcohol and got him drunk, despite him being underage. Lipman then alleges that after this dinner meeting, Grasham sexually assaulted him in his own home. This was followed by drunk phone calls from Grasham’s friends, urging Lipman to keep quiet about what happened.

‘APA Agency has kept this man employed, working with kid actors. I find it incredibly difficult to believe they do not know of his predatory behavior, using his position within the company to prey on naive kids,’ Lipman said.

Who else has come forward?

After Lipman’s posts about Grasham, other men have come forward with similar stories. Lucas Ozarowski also used Facebook to share his story about Grasham.

According to Ozarowski, Grasham kept giving him drinks at a party. At the time, Ozarowski’s phone was at Grasham’s house charging. When the two finally went back to Grasham’s home and Ozarowski started to order an Uber, Grasham allegedly pulled Ozarowski’s pants open and grabbed his genitals.

Ozarowski’s post included screenshots of Facebook Message conversations he had with Grasham.

Brady Lindsey, now 19, was only 16 years old when Grasham allegedly found his Instagram account. In the course of a year, Grasham reportedly expressed a strong desire to be Lindsey’s boyfriend, start a family with him, and help him begin a career in Hollywood.

‘I didn’t know who he was. He said he was a big-time agent in L.A. and he worked at APA,’ Lindsey said.

What now?

In light of these allegations, 14-year-old Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard fired Grasham as his agent.

‘APA takes these allegations extremely seriously and is investigating this matter,’ a spokesperson for APA told The Hollywood Reporter.

‘Tyler Grasham’s employment with APA has been terminated effective immediately,’ another APA spokesperson told Variety.
