Marjorie Taylor Greene tells LGBTQ people to shut up about “what you like to do in the bedroom”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) celebrated Independence Day a day late with a hate-filled rant in which she claimed to speak on behalf of “The American People” and said that “regular Americans” all hate Vice President Kamala Harris, don’t care about the COVID-19 pandemic, want gay and bisexual people to go back into the closet, and are afraid that trans girls will hurt their daughters.

“If you don’t like America or our flag, then get the hell out of our GREAT country & go live in some other shithole Socialist or Communist country that shares your hate for America, our flag, & our God given freedoms,” she wrote.

Greene wrote her “message from America to the Swamp” last night, parroting conspiracy theories, attacking Democratic politicians, and taking care to also denigrate LGBTQ people.

“Your identity is not your sexual preference or what you like to do in the bedroom,” she wrote. She is one of the strongest opponents of the Equality Act in the House, which would add sexual orientation and gender identity to existing federal civil rights laws. She tried to shut down Congress twice to prevent that law from passing.
