Creep of the Week – Steven Anderson – Again!

If thereâ??s one thing we know about crazy itâ??s that crazy never quits. It also gets a lot of attention. No one embodies that better than Mesa, Ariz. pastor Steven Anderson, who is creepy enough to be Creep of the Week two times in a month.

In case you missed it, Anderson, the pastor of Faithful Word Baptist Church, recently declared that all homosexuals should be put to death and that homos rape children to recruit them.

Well Alan Colmes, formerly Sean Hannityâ??s punching bag on Hannity and Colmes, which has since become Hannity and Hannity, recently interviewed Anderson. And Anderson was adamant that he meant every word and then some.

When Colmes asked if every gay person was a predator, Anderson replied, â??Well, if you disagree with that, that’s fine. But every gay person in the Bible was a predator, from Genesis to Revelation.â?

Woah. Every gay person in the Bible? The Bible is â??Tales of the Cityâ? all of a sudden?

When Colmes presses for more, Anderson says, â??That’s what I believe, yes. And every gay person that I’ve ever known personally has been a predator.â?

I am tempted to make a joke about every gay person Anderson has ever known Biblically. But I wonâ??t.

Oh, and in case you werenâ??t sure what Anderson means by predator, heâ??s more than happy to elaborate. â??A predator as in someone who tries to molest other people, tries to force people into things that they don’t want to do,â? he says. â??I believe that every homosexual in the world is a deviant, is evil and is a predator that is out to recruit others through molestation, through rape. It’s in the news.â?

Duh. Obviously predators are gay rapists. I guess I should re-watch that Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, because I donâ??t remember that part at all.

Previous to this interview, Anderson ranted about Barney Frank, basically saying he was the secret leader of the country trying to make everyone gay. He has since apologized. Kind of. But he still insists that Frank is â??perverted and that heâ??s sick and that I would put him in the category with the rest of homosexuals.â? Keeping in mind, of course, that Anderson believes all homosexuals, without exception, are rapist recruiters.

When Colmes points out the ridiculous nature of Andersonâ??s claim and tries to stand up for homos a bit, Anderson fires back, â??You seem to think that thereâ??s some difference between what we read about in the Bible and whatâ??s going on today.â?

To quote an old Sunday school song, â??I hate homos, this I know. For the Bible tells me so…â?

But donâ??t worry: Anderson has enough hate in him to go around. He thinks adulterers (which, obviously, would be straight people since thereâ??s no such thing as a marriage between two people of the same sex in Andersonâ??s worldview) should be stoned to death. Not that he wants the job. â??I didnâ??t say I was going to do it, but thatâ??s what the government should be doing,â? he says.

Not that he likes the government. President Obama â??deserves to die because heâ??s a murdererâ? (of babies, of course). Anderson actively prays for Obamaâ??s death. But not every night or anything. â??Iâ??m not that negative of a person,â? he says.
