Tucker Carlson used the slur ‘fa***t’ on air

Recordings of Fox News host Tucker Carlson using the word “faggot” on air over a decade ago have surfaced.

Media Matters is releasing audio from Bubba the Love Sponge, a radio show that Carlson called into regularly from 2006 to 2011.

In a recording from May 6, 2006, when Carlson was working at MSNBC, “Bubba” said, “Tuck, do you like coming on with us? ‘Cause I like you. I mean I’m not trying to fag out on you or nothing, but I like you. I like you.”

Apparently trying to out-do Bubba, Tucker responded that he liked Bubba too.

“You always say, ‘I mean that in a non-fag way,’ but I actually mean it in a completely faggot way,” Carlson said.

Media Matters has been releasing audio from Carlson’s appearances on Bubba the Love Sponge this week.

This past Sunday, they released a clip of Carlson defending a pedophile cult leader who was sentenced to decades in prison for arranging marriages between adult men and girls as young as 12-years-old.

Media Matters also released audio of Carlson calling Hillary Clinton “anti-penis” and “if she could castrate you, she would” and making misogynist comments about other women.

Yesterday, the organization put out various clips of Carlson making racist statements, like saying that “white men” created civilization, calling Iraqis “primitive monkeys,” and saying about Michelle Obama: “you just get the feeling she’s got a major chip on her shoulder” because sometimes she “turns into a sister.”

Carlson has responded by saying that Media Matters “caught me saying something naughty.” He has refused to apologize for his past statements.
