Bernie Sanders will skip LGBTQ town hall after heart attack forces him to slash campaign schedule

Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) will not attend the upcoming LGBTQ Town Hall, making him the only frontrunner to miss both LGBTQ forums.

Sanders initially cited schedule conflicts with both the GLAAD/Advocate LGBTQ Forum in Iowa last month and the UCLA/HRC LGBTQ Town Hall tomorrow night.

After he was called out for skipping both of the LGBTQ events for this campaign season, he announced that he would attend the LGBTQ Town Hall in Los Angeles on October 10. But then he suffered a heart attack last week and has had to cancel some of his appearances.
