USAID to Host Panel on LGBT Human Rights

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) will host a Pride Month panel promoting rights for LGBT persons around the world. The panel will be held June 21, 2011, and will precede remarks by USAID Administrator Rajiv Shah.

 

The conference will discuss how USAID’s partnership with the international community can best respond to historic opportunities to promote democracy, human rights and governance around the world.
