Texas school superintendent slams Attorney General who demanded she cancel Pride Week

The superintendent of the Austin Independent School District in Texas is not letting let anti-LGBTQ state officials stop her from making her students feel safe.

After Attorney General Ken Paxton sent (and publicized) a letter to Dr. Stephanie S. Elizalde instructing her to cease celebrating Pride Week at school, Elizalde tweeted a refusal.
